your local bag of chips (so much air in here!)
This is the craziest story ever... XD.

So, the dealy-o:
In 1983, Atari made a game in 5 weeks; it was for the movie E.T. Whoever was the chipshit that made this stupid thing was... -_- There are no words for how incomprehensibly disgusting this game is to all retro video games :L.

Here's a playthrough of it:

What does this have to do with anything?

So, it turns out that Atari made chip-tons of copies of this god-forsaken crap, and no one bought it (Not too hard to see why XD). They felt shameful for summoning this demon-spawn, so they maturely and surely buried it in a pit in the most arid part of New Mexico where no one would find it...

Yes, about that :L.

They just found the stash of these games today! It's hilarious how pathetic this whole caper is. I gotta good laugh from it XD.

You gotta see the story for this:

I've heard that there's been rumors about this for the past 30 years they've been gone, and now the mystery has been revealed!
Good job, Atari. Good job.

It's the gaming crash of '83. There's a movie. You make a video game off of it in FIVE WEEKS. You dump all of them in a landfill, perfectly unscathed.
